Quince Jelly - a rare preserve with a delicate flavour
In 2010 we made a few dozen pots of quince jelly from our small crop of quinces. Well the jelly turned out to be exquisite - something really special. We sold most of it at the market on a trial basis, and the feed-back was very positive. So, it is already decided, that when this year's crop of quinces is ripe in the autumn, it's gonna be the jelly-pot for them!
I might even try my hand at making some membrillo as well....
Our quince jelly has proved a delicacy, to be enjoyed on bread or crackers, or as an accompaniment to cheese.
